What a sweet and precious little lamb ("Cordero"). Born in the middle of the day, my first daytime foaling! I am still exhausted as I was up all Monday night waiting and waiting, on into the next day we went. He was worth the wait. He couldn't be a stronger healthier little guy. He was up and nursing and ready for his first nap within 20 minutes of being born. A perfect little charmer Mr. Cory is. When he is ready for a nap he seeks me out to flop down beside. I had a conference call Tuesday night so I spent those 2 hours on the cell in the stall curled up beside my little bundle. We "spooned" the whole time. He was seen by the vet Wednesday morning and stood for his exam like a pro. When the vet ran her hand down his leg to check his joints he lifted it, she said "silly, you were being so good so far" I was able to say "he still is being good, he's lifting his foot for you, he thought that's what you wanted!". Since he was born during the day he got a quick romp right before sunset Tuesday night. It is the earliest I have ever turned out a foal and there is nothing like 3 and a half hour legs figuring out where they belong! Like all our foals Cory is getting lots of "hands on". At 1 day old he is leading in front of mom, is used to clippers, plastic, loud noises, cats, dogs and he has even been led up to the end of my driveway to watch the cars go by. This morning (coming 2 days old) he loaded in both the step up and ramp trailers, leaving his mom behind.

Ted didn't get the memo requesting a filly, therefore this little bundle is available for purchase to an approved home. Visit our sales page for current price. Which will increase at weaning if not prior. Long term payment plan available.
