JC Julio with Andrew and Katrina Tomlinson
"Hey Jenni -
Julio is doing wonderfully this morning!  Got through the night with no problems and he was very ready to come in for his breakfast, which he cleaned up,,, Uncle Boogs came into the stall next to him for a while this morning a was being very sweet to him.  My hay is being delivered & when the guys started moving around up in the hayloft brave Boogs started to get quite upset, spinning, pooping and threatening (or pretending) to bust out out of the stall - so I caved & let him back out with the girls for now until things calm down, typical! Julio thought uncle Boogs was very silly & He's behaving like a little champ and seems to like all the activity.  Such a good boy!  Maybe he can teach the others a thing or two,,,,, I'll update more later,,,,,hope your doing ok,,,,,,,we LOVE him,,,,,LOL,,,xxx
by the way I enjoyed our horsey girls night so much!  that was very fun and of course meeting miss Ally was the highlight!

"Thanks Jenni,
I have never received such a quick reply. And I thought I was up Late. I am leaving tomorrow to see my family, as I am working at the hospital over Christmas. Frances leaves next week for California so Little Bear will have a few days off, which I know he will not mind. He is learning the spanish walk, cavalettis, leg yields and lots more. I will send pictures soon. Have a merry christmas. There are 4 anadalusians at the barn ,little bear ,fino, Nobel and this 12 year old spanish gelding Oskar. I would love to get some xmas pictures of them all, possibly as reindeer?? Well good night , talk to you soon, Helen"

"Dear Jenni,
I have been extremely pleased with you honesty, straightforwardness and accuracy. You "tell it like it is", the good and the bad together. I can't tell you how much that I value that, when one has to take so much of what many people say
with a LARGE grain of salt. That you sent me that vet's report on MO was unusual in the horse world, and we both know that. That's the only way to do business IMO, but still, it's rare. Please don't change. All best, Frances Carbonel"

"Hi, Jenny--
Thanks for the invitation, and for the pictures. I've been meaning to write but we were very taken up with a show we took our two young horses to on Saturday. Fumar is working a steady five-day week and doing very well, developing some lift and swing gradually on the lunge. We've got some pictures of him on Pep's computer--I'll get him to send them to me so I can send them, when he gets in from morning stables. He is getting some flair and attitude (good), and shows off in the field after every work session (driving Crooner crazy), so I think he's enjoying it. The trail ride sounds very tempting, but I'm afraid that Fumar is not ready and our young horses (competition-conditioned as they are just now) will not exactly be relaxing rides, as well as being distinctly non-Andalusian (well, they're grey at least). It does sound like a lot of fun, though--maybe next year we can start going along. Hope all is well with you-- Miranda"

"Hi Jenni!

Had to just write and tell you how wonderful Goose was today! We had our first official lesson with the trainer here, and it was also Goose's first time cantering in the ring, and we jumped her a bit as well. She was PERFECT. Hopped right over a little X, and a small gate, and even some barrels without batting an eye.  Picked up the canter in both directions... only got the wrong lead once, and SWAPPED on her own, front and hind! :o) I am a proud mom right now.  The trainer thinks she's great too.  She was amazing. Attached a folder of pictures from the lesson for you. I hope they work, let me
know if they don't!

JC Primera Andaluza and Maria Tukeva
"Hi Jenni,
I know you must be missing Ally alot, she is such a sweetheart. I even miss her during the week, and I've only known her a short time. She is doing fine. I have her with Feo (the bay gelding) and La Menina. The two akhal tekes have not taken well to her, so I keep them in a separate field. I tried them all together briefly on the 3rd day, and Taj (the at gelding) was very aggressive. So, I am going to keep them apart till she is bigger, and just introduce them on line now and then, to see if he gets over his attitude. She is happy with the two horses, and they seem to take care of her. Please let me know when you want to come and see her. I'll be out there this weekend.
Take care!

"Hi Jenni -
Just walked in the door and wanted to let you know that Fish is all moved in and very comfy in her new digs. What a gift she is.  How grateful I am. Of course her Rambo heavyweight came today wouldn't you know.  I really appreciate you letting me borrow your blankets and I will return them very soon.  I should have my first photo report to you within the next week :-) Anyway, thanks so much for the new leather halter and for putting together such a wonderful care package, it was so thoughtful and generous.  And I really appreciate the photo of her grandsire, as well as your filing the paperwork for the registration transfer. You are an angel on earth and deserve lots and lots of good things for all the good things you have done for me (and others too, I imagine).
Thanks again and I'll "talk" to you later this week"

" I am completely in love with my wonderful Fish. I don't think I have ever in my life met such a friendly, generous and completely willing horse. And I think she is spectacularly beautiful. I am riding almost every day, and although I'm sorry to say MY position hasn't improved much (as you can see from the photos I'm still sort of collapsed and hunched over) - she certainly is coming along famously! Jean Paul is very pleased and I think she has even touched his heart with her innocent and trusting manner. Thank you again!

"Yes, of course you may use the pictures on your site.  Sorry we don't have any pix under saddle, yet.  And yes, we've been riding.  Doing lots of transitions and mixing up the patterns to keep her from getting too strong and to keep her listening and interested.  We're starting to get some rythm.  She is SO sensitive to all the aids - I'm really having a ball!  She seems to be having fun, too. Heidi seems to like it here.  Debbie has started putting the horses out on pasture for just a few hours each day so as to gradually build them up to all night. Debbie S. has been very pleased with Heidi's manners (and so have I).  Even though she gets excited, she always behaves herself until the lead rope is removed.  Of course, you knew this already! She has definitely won my heart!
Give Nicholas a pat for me!  And say 'hi' to Ben."

 "Hi Jenni,
Thought you'd like to know that Heidi is doing famously.  Attached is a picture from the July 4th show.  We have more pictures from yesterday's show, but haven't downloaded them from the camera, yet.  As you can see in this picture, she took a 1st and a 2nd and the Championship! Yesterday, she took a 1st and a 3rd and the Reserve Championship.  She seems very happy.  Couldn't get her to perk up her ears in the picture - all the activity was no longer of any interest.  And I think she would have rather been eating her hay or taking a nap.  Since they're out at night, they nap in their stalls during the day, so a horse show disturbs their rest!  I love her dearly already.  Just got back from two weeks in Colorado at the Graduate School of Banking and really missed her!
  Hugs,
Deb."
