Saphire

Saffy is a 2010 buckskin filly out of the arabian mare Sini Sahara. This is what Saffy’s owner Dawn Murray has to say about her; “I recently purchased Saphire from Double K Ranch in McCook Nebraska. (March of this year). She is a joy and very well started. How BRILLIANT she is!!! I just hope that I can stay a step ahead of her. She is always thinking. We are just now developing our trust in each other and I am so looking forward to a long and fulfilling life together. We are not a show home. I looked for a partner like her for over a year and think I found just the right one. I just lost my 25 yr old arab gelding “Ben” and she is helping me to process the loss and move forward.  I need to figure out how to download more recent photos, This one is when she was one day old!!! She now looks like a true twin of you Sapphira!!!! (only a tad shorter).
I plan to learn a more “Vaquero”style of riding and want to concentrate on that ..a little dressage and some upper level movements, but mostly I want a true trail companion. She is a super four hoof drive vehicle! Can’t wait to really get going on some more training.
